WINDOW TINT LAWS

At Ceramic Pro Grand Junction, we are not lawyers, but we encourage our customers to follow the window tint laws. As we read it, these laws mean unless you do not tint your front windows, ALL of your windows must allow at least 27% of visible light to come through. In most films this means you need a 35% film or higher. In our Ultimate IR ceramic film, you may be able to use 30%

The intrepretations we have read do not apply to the sunroof, however going any darker than a 70% film can cause the glasss to crack. The law is relatively strict on windshields. Basically you can do a 70% film 4″ down from the top of the windshield.
